The appointment when you first get your appliances (braces, expanders, etc.) usually lasts between one and two hours. After that, you’ll pop in every four to eight weeks for an adjustment and so we can make sure everything is going according to plan. These appointments take 20 to 40 minutes.
Patients are seen by appointment only. We know you’re busy which is why we make every effort to be on time for our patients and we ask that you do the same for us. But, hey, we’re aware things come up sometimes. If that’s the case and you can’t make an appointment, let us know right away. Since we’re currently booking appointments four to eight weeks in advance and it’s difficult to reschedule you, try to only cancel if it’s an emergency.
If you have insurance, we’ll help you determine how much coverage is available to you. We ask that you assign your insurance benefits to us. We’ll then make arrangements so you can pay the balance. The insurance company is responsible to the patient and the patient is responsible to the doctor. After all, we’re not straightening the insurance company’s teeth. We’ll help in any way we can though including filing your paperwork and claims.
