At Richard Chan Orthodontics, creating beautiful smiles is only part of what we do. We also believe in making a positive difference in the community we call home.
This fall and winter, we’re inviting our patients, families, and neighbors to join us in giving back through two special donation drives benefiting local Seattle organizations.
From providing essential hygiene products to helping families stay warm during the colder months, small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference.
October–November: Menstrual Product Donation Drive
Now through November 24, 2026
Access to essential menstrual products is a basic need, yet many individuals in our community struggle to afford these everyday necessities.
Richard Chan Orthodontics is collecting menstrual products to benefit Seattle T2P2, a local organization dedicated to addressing period poverty and helping ensure individuals have access to the products they need.
How You Can Help:
We’re accepting donations of new, unopened menstrual products, including:
- Pads
- Tampons
- Panty liners
- Other essential menstrual hygiene products
Every donation helps support dignity, health, and well-being for someone in our community.
Donation Deadline: November 24, 2026
November–December: Winter Clothing & Supplies Drive
November 30 – December 18, 2026
As temperatures drop in the Pacific Northwest, staying warm becomes especially important for individuals and families experiencing housing insecurity. This winter, we’re partnering with Mary’s Place, a Seattle nonprofit that supports women, children, and families experiencing homelessness.
We’re inviting our patients and community members to help provide warmth and comfort through donations of winter clothing and essential supplies.
Suggested Donations Include:
- Warm coats and jackets
- Hats, gloves, and scarves
- New socks and warm winter accessories
- Blankets
- Other essential cold-weather supplies
Your generosity can help make the winter season a little warmer for families who need it most.
